Aftermarket Coil pack

I am looking for a after market coil pack for my 2002 xlt 4.0 sohc. Is there any options out there for me. I have read reviews and looked at the screamin demon coil pack but it is listed only up through the 2000 explorer 4.0L. Will this still work with my application?

definately go with accel. Have one in mine w/ noticable difference.

I was reading on this forum that someone else went with the accel with no difference noticed. he said it would take a heavily modified engine to notice a difference. What kind of difference did you notice with the accel coil pack?

Accel and MSD are pretty comparable if you have a choice. I did my homework on these mods a while back and it's 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other with these brands.

I put a MSD on my 5.0 Explorer (I have a '99). I noticed a very subtle difference (idle seemed smoother), but it could have been psychological. I find it unlikely that you'd notice a "huge" difference.

I recommend Screamin' Deamon coil packs if you want to go aftermarket.
