Ok, a while back I had a Kenwood KDC-716S stereo... The face stopped responding (no lights, but still did the motorized stuff though sometimes screwy)... I wanted a new stereo anyway and this one was out of warranty... So I got a Pioneer DEH-P7400MP. Bad-ass, I love it!

This was late november, early december if I remember correctly.. The face just stopped responding...:( Circuit City installed the Kenwood, I installed the Pioneer... Anyone know what could be the problem? Or point me in a direction.. I'm gonna look at everything closely tomorrow, see if I can fix it...

No power to it at all?
just guessing but maybe dirty contacts from the face to the unit, or a blown fuse maybe loose wiring.

Actually, I don't know what I did.. But it's fixed now.. There was power, just the faces didn't light up (and yes, I did try the power button:)) Anyway, it's all good so I'm not questioning it..

cool

mine did that once. but then i started my X...lol

Yeah, I kinda figured that the truck should be on (or at least the key turned enough) :)
