Hello all.
I'ce seen quite a few posts concerning the air intake manifold on the 4.6 v8. Through my research in this forum, I decided that I needed a gasket change rather than a whole new intake. However after changing the gaskets, I still have a leak coming from the same area. Directly under the thermostat housing. It's definitely not the upper housing, but below it. Just where the aluminum transfer tube meets the plastic.
So my question is should I assume the intake itself needs to be replaced, or is there something else that could be.causing this leak.
It's not .leaking as profusely as before but I did happen to notice I had almost no anti- freeze after a week.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
