Hi all,

I have a 2007 explorer that had horrendous front seats. I found a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer and pulled out the front seats to use in explorer. Now that I have the Mercury seats in, my airbag light is on steady on the dash.

2 things. When my friend disconnected the wires from the junker, on the passenger side, he disconnected the one of the connectors on the seat rail. I believe this is a weight sensor. On the drivers side, he disconnected the yellow connector. This is the one that is totally connected through the seat only and does not connect directly to the car harness. Both of these sensors were disconnected when I first started the car up after installing the seats. Upon seeing the airbag light, I checked my old seats and realized those 2 connectors were unplugged. After reconnecting them, the airbag light is still on.

I don't have an odb scanner than handles SRS codes. Before spending the money on one, what can I try to do to get the light off?

Thanks
