2006 Eddie Bauer
I have a 2006 Eddie Bauer. When I start my car, with my AC already with the on switch in the on position, it takes about 45 seconds for the airco to kick in.
Is this normal ?

Well I have manual air conditioning on my XLT but I would guess its normal if you have the electric. I have seen it on other cars were it will delay it so that it doesnt blow hot air on you.

I have the digital temperature control in our '07 and I believe it is for that exact reason; to prevent you from being blasted with cold or hot air immediately. On AUTO in the winter it will ramp up the fan speed as the truck reaches operating temperature.

Never thought about the hot air scenario (which REALLY applies here..) but yeah seems odd.. but I'll take that as a reasonable reason for the delay... :salute:
