with the talk about synthetics and dino oils...i have another question i thought off.
Some have stated that maybe the best thinng for a person to do it switch to a semi-sythetic oil. The problem with this is that in that quart of semi-syth. you buy, how much is actually a syth. oil. What is the ratio. It could be just a few percent, just so they can say semi syth on the bottle.
O.k. then. What if you bought three quarts of lets say mobil 1 5w-30 and 2 quarts of regualar mobil 5w-30, could you mix them together and say that you truly have a semi-syth oil now?
For the record my 94 X has 165,000 on it and it has seen Val. syth blend oil it's entire life. this is just what i feel comfortable with.
