So you put the seat as far back as it goes on the tracks and then recline all the way back as well? If so. That does not sound very comfortable at all. Maybe i read it wrong. I am 5'10" as well and dont think i could even drive like that. My mom drives with the back rest very vertical or as far forward as possible. I always have to adjust the seat becuase i feel like i am leaning forward. I like a little recline i guess but not all the way.

Holy crap- ^ I have the same chain! ^

Not reclined all the way.. if you have power seats, you have controls to seperately raise and lower the front and back of the seat. All the way back, all the way up, and the back of the seat lowered as far down as it will go. Yes, that is how I drive. I feel if I go any closer I am all over the pedals - I can easily and comfortably push the gas and brake all the way down from there.

Although I suppose it is also entirely possible that I am just G'd up with my mother ####ing feet up amongst a sea of []'s. I also keep $15,000 cash in stacks on my dashboard at all times.

That was my suspicion. ;)

Something like this? :D

Also.. So seriously, you guys don't do this?

When my wife drives she also puts it all the way forward and up.. she can't reach the pedals with the seat where I usually leave it :D

I was tokin in my ride and gangsta leanin yesterday. felt good.

I wish I had leather.
swap tiiiiiime???

nope and im 6' tall. im also white tho, so that might play a roll i guess.

Is that what they call the Detroit lean ? Your in the metro so there ya go.

Anyway my preferred spot is in the middle front to back and 3/4 of the way up towards the ceiling, and the season has changed to SEAT HEAT ON.

I am 6'3" and the seat is always as far back as possible in just about every car I drive. I only move it forward a little if there is a passenger behind me. I don't know if the back of the seat is at its lowest, but I do lean back more than the average person I would think. I don't like to be too close to the steering wheel. I have long arms I guess as well so there is no need to be too close. I feel cramped if I am.

Love my Sport but hate the seats...

My seat base is cracked and the seatback has always leaned back...I got the most comfortable seats in my Charger and I get the best control when my seatback is straight...And the Charger seat bolsters hold me in place at speed that I shouldn't need to be going...And my work vehicle is another Charger sometimes or a pursuit Tahoe and those seats are pretty comfortable too...

So I am looking to replace the seats too...I bought some Explorer seats from an 07 Explorer but they were for the second row so that did me no good...

BTW I am 6'5" and weight in on the north side of 340 lbs...

I'm 6'1", power seats.

I have mine slide about halfway back, the rear height adjustment 1/4 the way up, front height adjustment about 1/2 the way up and the seat back is even with the B-pillar the seat belt is mounted to. Lumbar is pumped 1/2 way up, seat back is completely squishy.

cloth seats.

That's how I roll...

I personally have never sat like this before. I've owned an 02 Dakota, a 00 neon and a 95 mustang and they were all cloth without power anything (cept the stang, had power locks and windows). My EB is the first nice truck I've owned, and I'm not sure if the fact that it's luxurious has anything to do with how I like to sit - but since the day I bought it, I just feel awkward anywhere but all the way back. Then again - I deliver food 25 hours a week, so I'm all about being as comfortable as possible behind the wheel and I use cruise control 80-90% of the time I drive.

I've said that one too many times.. I wouldn't settle on my explorer unless it had leather, moonroof, power everything, v8 awd the works. Glad I waited, ended up getting this beauty for $2000
