Ok first off Let me say hello to everyone! i have been lurking around for about a week now looking for general info about my newly acquired 94 X eddie bauer 4x4.
Now on to the questions.......
i was trying to check the electronic 4x4. The lights on the dash don't light up. I DO hear clicks in the drivers rear, but it doesn't engage. I have pulled the plugs from the module in the rear and pressed the button. It flashes 4-5 times then stays lit. I have also crawled underneath and turned the front d/s to check the hubs and turned it for about 3 minutes each way and no difference..so what should I do now? I was thinking about switching to the manual transfer case but the $$ is kinda tight right now and I would like to get this fixed before winter hits...I'm up for any ideas you can throw at me.
I'm kinda nervous about taking about the shift motor in case I'm not able to put it back together......
