another prolbem

i have a 97 x sohc the prolbem is my dome light stays on so i took the buld out but my power windows will go up er down with no key in the truck and it was killing my battery so after i took the fuse out the dash lights, horn,wipersand windows all dont work. are they all on that one fuse any ideas where my prolbem is do i have a short? does anybody have a diagram showing me the fuse pannel in the truck of what fuse controles what would be great cause just to find that one fuse i had to take them all out one by one lol any help would be great thanks

that sounds like an ignition problem...the ignition cylinder lock I mean

its most likely not your ignition but a relay problem... hint -> battery saver relay ... BUT get a meter and check it. Further your windows are not causing your battery to drain unless you are sitting there playing with the switches the whole time... its the "other stuff" as you found out when you pulled the fuse.
