Well anyone know of a way? I want to be able to turn them off without to much work and turn them back on without to much work.

Is it possible? Is there a way to cut the rears off and keep the fronts on, with out having to bleed them?

Just an idea I have been tinkering with...

You could always put in an adjustable proportioning valve and dial the pressure all to the front when you wanted to. Dead Link Removed has one for 39.50, P/N Sum-G3905. It doesn't go all the way to zero, but will drop to 100psi. Or you could plumb a high pressure petcock into the main rear line.....

Is there anyway to adjust the existing proportioning valve so that you could do this? Hmm ideas... I know about line locks but I was hoping I could do something with just existing hardware without having to buy new stuff... :)

you just want to be able to push the brake and the gas at the same time so you can squeal your tires, don't you? :) Ohw ait yours is a stick shift...

The only thing you CAN do with the stock setup is set the brake BIAST using the plunger coming through the booster and into the master cylinder. It is adjustable and allows you to adjust the amount of pressure going to the front/rear.

If you want to completely disable the rear brakes you will need a FMS or other proportioning valve.

WHy do you want to turn off the rears? I spend all my time trying to get the rears to work right!! hahahaha!!

You can look at Brett's "rear disc conversion" write up for instructions on how to adjust the stock brake biast.

Stick with the hand throttle and hoping to go up to bandimere at some point.... :D It can be done I just want less pressure on the rears. :)

BTW 410 I can lock up all four if I need to so I got plenty of stopping power. However disc's in the rear would be WAY nice.
