Anyone do flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber?

I want to put a flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber muffler on my 2000 V8 5.0

Im not sure if they make them with 2 inlets and 1 out like I need.


Anyone done this? if not whats the loudest muffler I can put on this thing that will fit with the stock exhaust?

That will be about as loud as you can go and still keep a muffler for legaility reasons and keep the stock tailpipe

What size is the inlet and outlet on the stock muffler? 2.25 or 2.5 inch?

also if I buy that y transition pipe and decide to go with a 40 series 2 chamber flowmaster muffler
would I need a center in/center out or center in/offset out?

It should be 2.25". For the offset on the muffler just see what you have now. It would likely have to be extended, so a shop could work with whatever you give them.
