I’d rather buy a long block and work through replacing it myself. It’s not that difficult, and all the help you need is here. Have access to a decent garage and tool kit?

also make sure your environment is right my garage to use a cherry picker to pull my sohc gonna need to move some boards around in the "attic" so to speak so need to make a little bit of soace to make it clear, and i cant used the driveway caude its sloped.

I have a decent set of tools my garage is kind of small and my driveway is slightly sloped I've never took on a job like this but I think it'd be a good learning experience happen to have a link to some threads with some good info?

Yeah my driveway is sloped to and my garage barley fit my 98" Isuzu rodeo I could post up some pics and see if you guys think it'd work

Would not attempt on a slope.
Do plan ahead by having your ac discharged so you can remove the compressor. Trying to shift it out of the way to is a huge hassle.

I can change a ohv in a long weekend working slowly
a slight slope or a small space should not stop you

Is your truck auto or stick?
Is the AC charged?

There are some tricks to know that can really make things go quickly and smoothly that is for sure.
First time many moons ago took a week with help from friends
Now I actually look forward to swapping out a OHV 4.) they are pretty simple as far as engine pulls go

There is a ton of good experience to draw from on this website. I did the engine replacement for my 1993 over a period of weeks so I wasn’t as rushed. I’d definitely recommend you buy a good shop crane and engine stand, as well as a load distributer. A friend is also going to come in handy for the install. Be sure to check all of the wiring before reinstalling it. The engine is a tough ******* but on a vehicle this old the wiring is likely going to need some attention. Just be sure to stick to a plan and budget. I got carried away with my rebuild and ended up with this:

Cherry picker arm must clear rafters in garage. Mine are 8' high, cherry picker arm tip goes up in between 2 of em and even contacts when pulling engine from a lowered 2nd gen. So, 10 degree sloped driveway has been used since. Kind of a hassle. Use tire chocks. Have another vehicle handy, honestly first time I'd allow 3-4 good days.
