Anyone try these LED side mirror turn signals?

They look pretty simple to wire up and look as if they would look real. Anyone have these installed?

they stick out huge on the mirror, like at least a half inch out, and the wire is very visible

It is a ***** to get the wire through the mirror and through the door. I ended up breaking the glass in ea. mirror to get the mirror opened up to run the wires through it. And I had to get the glass co., where I got the new mirror glass, to notch the mirror to hide the wire. I used these, http://www.kwmuth.com/products/kits/200-0056.htm.
I tried the ebay lights and just didnt like the way they looked. Plus I use the wide angle mirrors anyway.

At least your gen has the actual mirrors, not just stick on round things.

You can make them yourself with a little time. Check out this guy on a Ford Taurus Club site. It looks fantastic and should be exactly the same for pretty much any car.

I think these lights are cool. They add safety and make your X unique.
If its gay, the high end SUVs and sport cars wouldnt have them.

Maybe next time I'll try removing the glass and not the part that the glass is attached to.
