I say what did you get it from? a Jeep? Looks like a Cherokee bumper.........

:)

Anything can be done with the right $$$$$$$ and tools

I don't think it's a Cherokee bumper.... it would stick out too much..... this seems to be an original ARB product.... I'm looking into buying this... shipping would be a major PITA though.... it's in Europe
:(

yikes...good luck with that one....

By the time it gets here I bet you could have a local 4x4 shop make you something just as good if not better for the same $$$.........

Dont get me wrong, ARB's kick butt! but the $$$$ just doesnt justify it........

If I owned ARB I would have produced a bumper for all gen's of the Explorer, how could you not? Look at all the business they lost to the other grill guard makers........

TJM used to make an aluminum bumper fot eh first gen Ex too....those were EXPENSIVE to say the least!

Personally I love my Duff tube receiver bumpers, they were under $350for both, bare, and they are tough as nails........

Oh but TJM still has some of the aluminium bumpers available - winch plates are obsolete though. On top of that they sell these bumpers at wholesale prices.... just check their website and look at blem corner... still, over $400.00 for aluminium bumper with no brush guard and no winch plate...
:(

I'd take ARB anytime.... I also had Smittybilt up front but it was rated for 6000 lbs worth of a winch...
:(

I can have this ARB in the picture for $400.00 (and shipping if I want it that bad....... not!)

Hmmm... I had e-mailed ARB last month asking about front and back bumpers and the reply I got back was that they didn't make them for Explorers. This post gives me hope that the person who responded didn't know what he was talking about.

Dre - what's the word on a ARB winch bumper for a 2nd gen. Ex?

I'll know more next month when I actually get to look at this bumper... actually I don't think that this bumper was built for Explorer.... IMO it was just built to fit Explorer.... looking at the picture though I can't wait to get it on my truck. The guy says that he can make it to fit my 98 as well...... more later...

great - thanks Dre. If it works for you I'll probably do the same. Although, I did find the thread where cdsl227 got the TrailReady. Nice setup!
