The only thing I didn't like about them is that they were a little loud at slow speeds, but not really much more than most knobby tires.

Check out www.bfgoodrichtires.com for any warranty info.

Oh BTW, they only wore about 10-15% in the 18000 miles I had them; including many offroad and drag strip runs.

they wear that well???...if so im sold... gettin 4 with mounting 30x9.50x15 for $550 on sale at sears

Pretty good price.

Most people get at least 50000 miles out of them, if not much more.

Wow! That is a really good price!!! It cost me $600 to get my Bridgestone Dueler's on my exploder... the BFs were like $800

BFGs are notorious on the east coast for the sidewall problems. I used to think it was just the old style ATs and MTs but the reports from the new models seem to be similar. If you are going to wheel hard make sure you take a spare. The good ride and good traction come from the flexible sidewalls - they will wrap themselves around and be exposed to all manner of rocks sticks etc. Pretty common to slit the sidewall so take a spare if you wheel- tire kits wont do you any good on the sidewall ( a tube and some leather are the only trail fix I know for a split sidewall).
If you are on road snow, or moderate trails they will be OK.

I've used tire patch kits on small sidewall holes, but on on BFGs.

I had many more problems with the sidewalls of my Goodyears than BFGs. That is to say my BFGs gave me no problems at all, and I wheeled on very sharp granite, gravel, limestone, foliage, etc. They didn't even show very many stretch marks from all the acceleration abuse I threw at them.

Make sure you check the prices at Sam's Club first! I think I calculated how much I saved had I bought them at Sear's and it was like well over $250.

Only problem I can see is the Bridgeston Dueler AT REVO being a superior tire ;) (I'm slightly biased in the sense that I don't think BFG is really worth the price they try to charge)

The only down side to AT/KOs are they will gum up in serious mud. Duh! But anywhere else and they are a superior tire. I've never had a problem with any sidewall of any BFG (used to be a dealer). Our club runs about 60% Goodyear, 30% BFG, and 10% swampers. Not one problem with a BFG and several have slit sidewalls on the Goodyears.

that's a bad thing?

mine arent loud at all. I love them in the rain, snow, dry, and mud. They have never let me down.

mine are not what I would call loud, but you can hear them sometimes, and to some that is too loud.I think it is cool when you can hear them!

Why are you going to get 30 x 9.50s?
I am only asking because you'll wish you got the 31 x10.50s as soon as you drive away.;)

The only complaint I have about the ATKO's is that they hydoplane more than any other AT tire I have ever had.

Hmmm, BFGs... overpriced, bad on wet pavement, bad in snow and gum up faster in the mud than any A/T tires I've ever seen. Get the Revo if you want the best A/T tire on the market right now. There are four guys here at work who switched over from the BFG A/T to the Revo and you couldn't give then a set of BFGs now.

I would disagree with the comments about them being bad on snow and wet pavement. They have never left me stuck in the snow, and I've never had a problem with hydroplaning. I've got about 30k on my A/T ko's and the only area that they haven't shone in is deep mud, but then again, it's not designed for mud. It has a closed tread pattern.

I'd buy them again without reservation.

I totally agree, I never lost traction with my BFGs when I wasn't expecting it. Of course with 300 hp I could make them lose traction whenever I wanted to though :D But I felt much safer with them than with my stock Goodyears, which involved me in a few wet weather accidents.

To each his own... But I totally agree with Splash but alas, I'm part of the Revo revolution ;)
