Hi guys!
Had a little problem mon night with the storms. Final score: Lightning-1, Modem-0. Anyway I'm back.
WOW, went from 8 pages to 12. You guys need to find something else to do with your time. I'm glad I don't have to travel with you guys, you're gonna get lost for sure. Christ, it took you about fifty posts just to find each other in chicago. You'll never find your way to Indiana.
Andre, the GM towhooks cost you 60 bucks??? I'd take them back and have them look up part number 999866 . Should cost you 18.27 for the kit, and thats BOTH hooks.
Matt, if you plan on following Riff you might want to give your insurance man a call and drop your comp/coll deductible to 0 for the weekend.
Pete, Yes tow hooks are necessary, OR D rings/shackles/clevises. Either are OK. It sounds like the setup you're putting on will be fine. Make sure you have something on the back also. The terrain is hilly and traction varies. How long it takes to run a trail depends alot on how much time we spend goofing off and laughing at Riff.
JJW, Only been there once w/ Riff and the others, so they know as much about the trails as I do. Which ain't much! I think it might be best if you were to lead, you know alot more about the area than any of us.
Riff, you're a PUTZ! Do you still have your front seat open? My oldest daughter is coming with and she needs a ride. I'll bring my handcuffs so I know your hands will be on the wheel. If not can she ride w/ someone else?
I plan to be there around 11, could be early, could be late. I'll holler when I get in the park. Probably be easiest to meet at the quarry.
I was thinking about doing the orange trail Sunday morning if I do it. I don't want to walk the whole thing so I would like to talk to JJW first since he's been on it.
Don't really want to break into two groups but I know the close to stock vehicles can't do orange, so for a while I guess we'd have to.
