I dont think there is an engine or tranny problem, when it was running a few days ago it ran much more smoothly then before I replaced the heads and alll the other stuff. I have seen no leaks (oil or coolent, other than the heater core). I think it could be a sensor or vac line maybe, as for the overheating problem, i think that when the heater hose blew the t-stat got stuck closed (maybe a bad t-stat) so im going to tak it out tonight and put it in some hot water and test it. I'm also thinking that the t-stat may not be opening soon enough because it does not get in the hot range, i just stays like around the L in normal and before the heater hose blew it was running much cooler, like in the N in Normal. Any advise would help. Also is there a way to test the water pump, i think its working but I dont want to rule it out before checking it. Thanks!!
