Aux trans cooler

So i was starting a intercooler job when i took off the bumper and ran into the aux trans cooler. Since it’s an aux trans cooler can i live without it since there should be a main transmission cooler?

Wondering why you would want to delete it ? The two primary causes of transmission failure are heat, and dirty transmission fluid.
