Avital 4103l install

I bought a keyless entry system/remote start from Amazon. It's an avital 4103l. I have it all hooked up in my 97 sport (my electrical teacher in school helped me out with the wiring a little) and now it won't work. I can't get it to even enter program mode. It's like it has no power, but I'm sure I have good power and ground. Anyone install one of these systems before? Any help would be appreciated

Ive installed the same one in a Accord a few weeks ago, did you have the battery disconnected when you installed it. If you have power and ground going to it, it should so something.
no lights? no clicks? no nothing?

Battery was connected. There's nothing happening as far as the unit goes.

Have you verified with a multimeter that the unit is getting power? I've only installed the Avital keyless system so I'm not sure what all connections are needed for the remote start.

Some details about how you have it wired in would help.

Have you checked the fuse for the alarm?

Nah, it happens. Took me two days to get my keyless going. Sometimes walking away from it for a bit helps.
