Back up lights keep blowing fuse

Two days after I installed my auxilliary back up lights, the fuse that controls the turn signals, back up lamps, heater/blower,etc. blew. So I replaced it with another 15 amp fuse, it blew two days later. Each time I replaced it, it would blow a little bit faster. Now as soon as I put the truck in reverse the fuse blows. So out of frustration, I replaced the fuse last night with a 20 amp fuse. I know I shouldn't do that, but what could be causing the 15 amp fuse to blow? Thanks.

There is a "short" somewhere in your connections.
The larger fuse will allow the wire to burn up instead of the fuse. Once the wire burns then it wont matter anyway but it will show you where the short is that you should have fixed.
Oh ya, that is if it doesnt catch the whole truck on fire.
Probably better find the cause instead of treating the symptme.

Thanks Bill, I didn't use any flex loom tubing and sure enough, it had rubbed through the wire cover to the bare wire and touching the frame.
