fog light fuse keeps blowing.

about a year ago i cut the wires to my old fog lights and installed new ones in the stock location, the new ones are the SAME watage as the old ones. I spliced the wires with the correct connectors and everything is taped like crazy to make sure its watertight. i did everything the right wayand its not like its wire nutted together or anything but 2 days ago i noticed they werent on. so i changed the fuse becuase it was blown, i drove it and ten minutes down the road the fuse blew again. i relplaed with a 20 amp fuse the third time instead of 15 just to see, and it blew right away.
btw i am using the stock wiring harness i just spliced in the new lights.
So any ideas on why it keeps blowing fuses?

Have you looked at the wires to see if they are still properly connected? Take the bulbs out and check them also.
Sometimes a wire can rub against some metal piece and wear the insulation off.

So... Redsox if you have a problem you should start a new thread to ask your question.
It gets confusing when there are two topics in one thread.
