bad gas?

Jsut fill my tank full, from empty. Imeidately haveing spluttering problems. Seems to idle fine and when in park doesnt seem like anyhting is wrong. Slow cruising with little acceleration is fine also. As soon as I press on teh gas it splutters. I tried some gas treatment and water stuff, but it hasnt worked. Possible problems?

It a 91 eB lots of miles.....

Yeah could be gas, pump or filter. you could siphon it out and refill with other gas.

are you using the ethanol treated gas? its cheaper and i've never had any problems with it when im at school at ui

Try changing you filter, it's cheap and easy to do.. If that doesn't work, you might have some bad gas.

It just started doing this? It sounds weird, but your spark plugs might finally be gone....

I've had the same problem. Let me guess if you press the gas pedal anything more than a granny ease it will sputter and while in park if you pump the gas pedal it will sputter also? That's what happens to me, I was goign to change the fuel pump and gas tank (last time I changed the filter the gunk out of it was black) but figured I change the plugs and wires first to see and treat the gas. Will let you know how it turns out.

yea, I probably goin gto do plugs and wires as well as new fuel filter. I'll let you know whats up with it when its fixed.

changed the plugs and wires, changed the fuel filter. It mad a difference to the way the car is running, BUT the problem still exist. It seems to get worse when the car is warm. Sounds and runs great when in park. Lo rpms run well, but when gas is pushed it splutters
