Well, I felt it was finally time to do a full blown before and after. Yesterday, I finally got new rims, so now I can officially classify myself as a sport truck guy. Let's start with a before shot:

That pic was the stockest pic I could find. Here are the after shots.

These are 18x8.5 Mondera Gullwings. Believe it or not, they are FWD rims on a 4WD truck. I only have minimal rubbing while in full lock to the left. It CAN be done folks!

Looks 10,000 times better!!!!!!! Personally I think the best change you made was ditching the black outs and going with clear corners, nice choiceof rims too!!!!!

Rear shot:

Next up, I plan on getting new shocks, ball joints, and lowering it 2 inches.

Any comments, questions, flaming is welcome. :D

Looks Excellent!

A good change indeed!

Sweet. I like the whole black look. Thats what I did to mine for the most part. I think the clears look pretty sweet on that truck. Man i really need to change my amber bulbs in my clears...lol

That black paint job on the bumpers is really noticable in these pictures. They look sweeter now than when you first painted them, and had the first pics up. They are awesome.
The clears look nice, but all blacked out looked like Knight Rider:)

im thinking you need exhaust, it looks good and will look even better when you drop it two inches, dont get me wrong, i still like two inches of lift over to inches of drop :)

Gotta few more pics:

looks great, but iwould ditch those blackouts on the rears for some aftermarket euros

I am ditching the blackouts soon, but no Euro nothing for me. I'm doing something different...

pretty X

you need one thing though, those faded rear cab corners, all X's have em after a few years......have a body shop paint em shiny black, and then she'll look smooth, later

I will be painting them myself when I can get my rear glass to open. I rattled something loose in the hatch, now I can't get it open. :(

Looks hot bro! I say you get a rear air deflector...i usually like a sporty look but I dont think thats what your goin for, either way it looks dope...
BTW, I go to school at Indiana U, you're from Indy? Maybe if I needed some help with my X youd be around? Just curious...

Really? Can you get either the gate or the glass to open? If not it's probably the knob. Mine did that a while back. If you take your rear plastic panel off you can then see inside the holes in the sheet metal and see what broke. It's sort of a crappy design. I think it uses plastic for one part and that is what breaks and then you can't open it anymore. I was able to pick up a new knob at the junkyard for around $15 or so.

I can open the whole hatch just fine, but when I go to turn the knob towards the "glass" side, nothing happens. :(

Well it's wierd but it can strip out just one way. It's good that you can still open the hatch cause getting that plastic out with the door stuck closed is a Major PIA! :) I betcha that is what happened though... :(
