Bernard's 1990 Bronco II

Well I found another BII! I had a 1987 for a long time, sold it to help out a friend. last year I picked up this little baby:

from what I have read, it is one of the last little guys made (made in Feb 1990). I trailered it home and have been rebuilding it ever since. I am in the middle of sorcing the rest of the parts for a diesel swap. Already have the engine and some other odds and ends. Just need more time. It will be getting Explorer springs this weekend, can't wait to get rid of the sagging leafs in it now.

Do you have any pictures to share of your build?

Diesel swaps aren't as common as say 4.0 or V8 in these trucks but there is info out there on it. I forget the site, dieselranger.com or something like that.

What's your goal for the build? DailyDiesel daily driver? Any offroad usage?

Either way, be sure to keep us posted on the build!!

It is my daily, light offroading to get to the good camp sites. I am setting it up to run WVO like my big truck. I know they are not performers after a diesel swap, but that is not what I am looking for. I really just want to make it a clean little diesel Bronco II.
