Best location for overhead lighting?

That photoshop looks good, I'd start it back a hair more myself. You can stick it to the roof, but try to use something which isn't too permanent. See what the base of the front mounting point looks like. If it is a good size, you might get away with a self adhesive tape or RTV.

Thank you, that sounds like good alternative...

I'm going to talk with the guys in about 10 minutes... I just can drill holes in the vehicle. It should be done by Thursday (owner said give them two days because they are going have their hands full with the rack, the lights and the coil springs) Thank you for the input

I punked out on this idea... I'm going to have the lights mounted on the cross bar. I just can't see spending so much and drilling additional holes - I will have to leave that project 1/2 done - add the lights in couple days. The lift is almost done now, that's the best thing. Thanks guys for the advice!

...aww, don't worry about it...i'm sure you can use that money to go on a trip like......truckhaven perhaps???

Actually...

that's true, and I'm thinking simpler mods are better. I'm going to add this to the grille... and then I'm done. It's actually just the crest - ebay. The Blue oval will be moved to the lower grille...

Almost done...

4 on top, yes, they are back up lights :D and two fog lights underneath...

finished

It's done...

I like the looks, especially the 2 lower ones on the rack.

What type of lights are those you put on?

Kept the roof rack in the normal position...

...nice....

Thank you! I didn't relocate the roof rack, too much $$$$$

I've got one more nighttime pic coming... it's not dark enough yet...:D

Houston, I think we have a problem... It looks toooo sheriff's vehicle at night. I had this look in mind, but not this much... too much? I cropped and reddend the image.

I know this i a month old but i saw your rack in the cb antena thread and had to search they look great the 4 rectangles especially. I want to do this soon but i do have to ask if you read this how did they run the wiring without drilling or dropping the headliner or did they. trying to figure this out step by step. it really does look like a state trooper from that pic.

That's the thing I want to see, how they did it. But they'll share with you how it's done... I want that antenna on tail lamp tho. Have you seen those threads? Nice! Roof mount will stay too... I'll pm you the info...
