Best rack/cargo cage for 2018 Explorer
Hi guys, was hoping to get some recommendations for fitting my explorer with cross bars and a cargo cage. thanks.

Unless you are looking at aftermarket ones, there are OEM crossbar available through the dealer. As for "cargo cage" are you referring to a roof top carrier? If you have a moonroof, the maximum weight you can put on top is 45 lbs. It's 100 lbs. without.

Hi Peter, thanks for the reply. So should I contact my local Ford dealer and ask their OEM crossbars? And maybe cargo basket is a better description

Check out this from Ford's Accessory Store that is on the Ford.com website; https://accessories.ford.com/vehicles/explorer/2018/exterior/racks-carriers.html?p=1 The crossbars are the very last item. You could also check sites like eBay or Amazon.
