It's not reverse procedure though because it's
Spring loaded. Have no idea how to compress it to get it out. No
Room unlike when u have to compress it before putting it in

Also, how many thrust washers does the carrier have when stock

I may just have to remove the bearing caps and ring gear. This is all new to me. Hopefully that helps out

I don't know, but can I ask why and what you're doing with it after it's removed? I've had my eye on the Spartan but it hasn't been a priority. Have you had any issues with it?
