Is there any heavy duty up grades i can do to the 1354 Borg Warner transfer case. I bought a nice used one and i want to make it a bit more stronger just in case i do a lift and put bigger tires on my EX unless it pretty much all ready set and all ready strong as is thanks for you help

The stock 13-54 is plenty strong. A rebuild is not a bad idea if you are installing a high mileage unit. Kits with new bearings and seals are available online. Also I would recommend replacing the low range shift fork bushings (if it is manual shift version) as a preventative measure.

ok thank you i bought a t case with about 65,000 miles on it i already have a rebuild kit and i'll just rebuild it and call it good

The mileage on the vehicle doesn't matter that much when it comes to the transfer case, what matters is how many of those miles the transfer case was engaged for. Obviously it's hard to know without at least seeing the vehicle it came off of, and whether it was stock or obviously modified and used offroad quite a bit, but it's still a good idea to just look inside, and clean out all of the original ATF, replace the seals, and check the shift fork bushings on the manual version or transfer case motor on the electric version.
