I am almost consistently blowing the large 50 amp fuse in the engine compartment that is for the ignition switch and relay according to the manual. Any ideas on why this is happening?!?!

:salute:

maybe the wires to the starter solenoid are getting a bit corroded, causing it to draw more amps to start the engine ?

Is the starter 'draggy'? Might be worn out
and drawing too much current. Or the solenoid
might be shorted.

Also try swapping the starter relay with a similar
one in the relay center under the hood.
