I don't know about o1 sport. But I know I used a saz-all on some. And they came right out. Also this has been touched on a lot. I bet there is a hole lot on the search forum.

Your right there is. The key word is "touched on" there were many post with people saying try this and try this, but no follow up. So I have no idea if those ideas worked. Most of which I already tried, i.e. pblaster, torch, etc. I am by myself so I cant hold the mounts with a vice grip, also mine are too small? I tried putting a jack on the mounts to put pressure on them, but they still spun.

So has the bolt backed out of the nut on the frame mount correct? If its free of the frame then just cut it off because your gonne replace em anyways. You could maybe try a pipe wrench.

No, its probably like 1/2 inch backed out, its still in the mount. Mine don't seem to have bolts they are threaded into the mount.

where on the truck are the mounts you are having trouble getting loose? Are you trying to loosen them with the truck on the ground? The trick i used on my front mounts (that had seized up and spun) was to jack the body up a good 4 or so inches in that corner (AFTER ALL OTHER BOLTS WERE IN PLACE BUT NOT TIGHT) and then cut the bolt at about and inch above and below the mount. Pull the mount out with the bolt still in it and let the pieces fall out of the frame. Take the mount over to the vise. Lock it in there tight and heat that sumbitch up with some propane or mapp gas. Hit the bolt with a hammer several times to try and shock it out. Mine broke loose at this point and fell out leaving the empty mount in the vise. Replace in truck and lower down and install lift puck. Done.

All of them. The only ones I could get out were the ones in the very back of the cargo area. The other 6 besides the core mounts are just spinning, didnt even attempt the core ones.

What kind of tools do you have? Ideally an impact gun, PB Blaster and a pipewrench can work wonders to get the old bolts out... The jaws on a pipe wrench clamp down progressively harder as force is applied which greatly reduces the chances of a mount spinning. Only the front mounts are threaded internally, the rest are flanged together with the threaded part on the lower side of the mount..

Are you sure? On the two back bolts I pulled out they were threaded all the way.

Ill im saying is that if the bolt is no longer attatched to the frame, and is just on the body then just cut it off and get a new body mount, it would probably improve ride quailty anyways and if you ever have to do it again it should be alot easier. Just install the ne bolts and body mounts with a liberal amount of grease.

I used a impact to get mine off and on and off and on again. The sudden torq really helps

On 1st gens only the front mounts are threaded (I'n not sure on other years). I have also found that if a bolt only comes out a little way that I would spray the threads with penetrating oil, re-tighten the bolt and try removing the bolt again.. This back and forth motion along with the penetrating oil really helps.. See my DayStar Body bushings thread for more info and pics..

were are the core mounts located? I am getting closer.

Exactly what is left to do on your body lift? Did you already install any blocks, or are you removing all bolts then installing the blocks? If you can't get it all done just install new bolts in the mounts and work on it tomorrow. I drove around with 4 mounts in various stages of being removed (the other 6 mounts were securely fastened).

Yeah, but weren't you only doing a 3/4" lift? I am doing a 3 inch lift, so far I have the blocks in the core mounts and two front mounts. I dont think it would be safe to drive like this.

Correct it wouldn't be safe to drive like that.. You should have removed all body mount bolts 1st before installing the lift blocks... That is what I did, and why I was able to just re-install new bolts and drive off without any worries.
