once again my digital cam gets stolen. I swear nothing is safe in my house! Starting the body lift on friday so I can get rid of the rubbing (front fenders and front bumper BAD)

The truck bed liner from autozone. Not sure If i will get this done today. I am at the parents house doing the body lift since its raining.


Here it is 3am and I have PBed all the bolts, took off back bumper (front was already off) and im about to undo the steering linkage and start getting all the bolts out. I'll be at the parents house in Fredericksburg till saturday morning so stop by if you would like.

update: 1 hour later

Steering linkage undone, and im 8/10 on body bolts. The $@$^ing front 2 mounts are giving me hell!

update 2: I still havent gone to sleep yet. The front 2 mounts took me about 2 hours to do. As of now I have all the blocks in place and bolted in except for 2 (gonna throw some washers on when i get some)

I have heard those front two mounts ont he Explorer are a PITA, they were the easiest to do on my BII.

I have been re-doing my body mounts slowly I still have 4 to go, maybe I need an all nighter?

They are a pain in the arse. You have to drill them out also so be prepared.

ok its on. I LOVE THE LOOK!!!! It doesn't even look like a body lift since I have the side steps on. Got the factory front bumper on with no cutting (rubs just a TAD). I NEEEEEEED a camera.

Yup - that's why I like my side steps. Make sure you come by (during the day that is) so we can make those new gap guards.
