borg warner question

Hey guys,

I have done some searching around here and can not seem to get a definitive answer. I have a 2000 Mounty with the 5.0 and awd. my center diff as gotten so warn that it needs to go and I have an electric shift Borg Warner 1356 out of my very totaled 95 Bronco. My question is will this fit in a second gen? If not what am i looking at adjusting to make this fit.

My Mounty is on stands where it has sat for a week because of being sold the wrong case and not finding out it was the wrong replacement case till the awd center diff was out so im scrambling and hoping this 1356 i have around will fit.

1356 is bigger and heavier than the 4406, but I believe it has the same bolt pattern to bolt to the 4R70W.
I know I saw a thread where somebody put a 1356 into a Ranger, which is actually a slightly narrower frame, but it did require notching the frame in spots.
