Thought this site could be of good use for a lot of people starting to build their own boxes. I have built a good handfull of my own boxes, but I always like to check my calculations before I start cutting. (The old saying "measure twice, cut once").
Anyway, I was using a hacked box for my sub until I had time to build one to JL specs that fit behind my 3rd row. Anyone who doesn't believe that subs have specs for a reason, well....building an actual box to spec just made my sub twice as loud and 10x better sounding than with my "10 minute hacked" box.
So here is an easy calculator for the lazy (or those who just don't have a lot of free time to be doing math, like me).

Hope this helps out some of you audio oldies and newbies.
