Brake light switch??

I have a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer, V6

My symptons:
I can't shift out of park
No brake lights
No cruise control

I'm guessing it's the brake switch light...but where exactly is it located? I found what I thought was it attached to the brake pedal, but when I took that part in to O'Reilly's and asked for a brake light switch, they gave me this:

But it wasn't the same part I was holding.

BWD switch appears correct, just need to splice two wires.
