Any ideas where I might find one?

I have the same issue. rock auto, advance, o'really, Napa....all the usual places list the part but don't have it

6 in stock?

10 in stock of this one

Maybe parts geek has them all? Worth a shot

I went aftermarket dual diaphragm and changed the brake master cylinder to a Wilwood. Probably more work than most want to do but parts are readily available this way for me.

Are they really in stock at partsgeek.com? It says they are

The couple of times I ordered from there I had no issues

I've been looking for one for about 6 months now. No luck. Any luck on your end? This has been a nightmare really. First the power booster, now this. 92 and up are everywhere but nothing for 1991

You guys are looking at the 92 models... No one. Absolutely no one has the 91

I went aftermarket, vacuum booster and Wilwood master cylinder. For me, it was cost and being able to find replacement parts easily.

What makes the 1991 master cylinder so different than the other 1987 to 1997 MCs?
Foe several years the piston size in the front calipers are 3" diameter.

I never researched it. When I noticed how impossible it was to find parts, I went a different route. I wouldn't be surprised if another year aerostar or ranger master cylinder would work.

I checked all 10 years of Aerostar brake master cylinders, caliper diameters and rear wheel cylinder bore sizes and the calipers and wheel cylinders stayed the same all 10 years. For about a year and a half, Ford used a different master cylinder that is no longer available. Then they went back to the same master cylinder part number that they used back to 1987. That tells me that the 1.5 year period that Ford used the different master cylinder was a bad idea. Ford sometimes doesn't have "a better idea".
On RockAuto use part number for any other years, DYNAMIC FRICTION 35554158 Includes Reservoir.
3.0 and 4.0 engine sizes brake part numbers are all the same.
