Brake Pedal 'Clunk'

When I nudge the brake pedal from the side (think shifting your foot from gas to break but catching the side of the pedal) the pedal makes a clunk noise and I can feel the pedal rock slightly left to right.
It will make the noise regardless if parked or not, running or not... any ideas?

What does this clunk sound like?

I just checked mine. I can move it back and forth slightly. If I give it a quick bump, there might be a slight (dull) clunk.
Nothing I would say is of concern.
