Wow everyone relax....just because the truck went into the shop and came out of it with the same problem doesnt mean his unlce's shop screwed him or anything, it just means they didnt drive thr truck enough or dig deep enough to fix the real issue. Sounds to me like a brake system pressure problem, like all 4 are dragging, OR your wheel bearings are fried.....but I would have to look at the truck.
I know they just charged you $550 for work you either didnt need or wasnt the problem you asked them to fix, so paying that $$$$ is either good because you got new brakes and you needed them or bad because you didnt.
They should now fix the real problem and personally I wouldnt charge you any labor or BS at the very least for the next repairs/diagnostics.
