Silverstars are the most referred to bulb on this site. I bought a set of those Xtreme Visions for my Grand Am and they were terrible, well not terrible but not at al worth the money, and nothing like what was shown on the box.

Dont get me wrong, they are great, if you want to pay $50 for a Counterproductive light.

"Xtreme Visions" by Sylvania: not the best

"Xtreme Power" by Phillips: ONE of the best

Meh, there'll always be duds. Did you return them?

Nah, they were a slight improvement over the stock bulbs (Whatever basic bulbs they had in there) and I was getting ready to sell the car anyways.

I have recently put LUMINICS " pure blue " bulbs in my headlights, after having an issue with my HID's, and for a halogen bulb they arent bad, replicating my HID's in the color aspect. currently though I desperately need light head lights aimed, and then I could give a better report on them.

I also bought the " jdm yellow " bulb's for my fogs, havent installed them yet since its been really retarded cold in Philly the last few days...

^ hear you on that man, just got my nokya arctics in , dont even wanna attemp to throw them in in these -7 degree temps..what part of NE are you?

Im not actually from New England Area, I live in the North East referring to Philadelphia, sorry about that...

Sylvania makes XtraVisions, not Xtreme Visions. They are the "best" bulb offered, at least for Sylvania in North America, as they don't market their Night Breaker or OSRAM Silverstars here..although some of the XtraVisions have been found to be Silverstars.

The Philips Xtreme Power do have great output, but despite this, it seems they have poor bulb life to go with it. Their Hi-Visibility or Vision Plus bulbs seem to be more in line with a balance of output/bulb life.

Not that this thread is about decent bulbs for good lighting.
