I was alone on my way home after picking up a stand up freezer off Craigslist. Someone trying to pass on the right hand turn lane rammed me on the side real hard and fled. Hit me pretty good. Knocked me off the left hand side of the road. All I saw was a white speeding car out of the corner of my eye and heard a roaring engine. Witnesses said it was a Malibu. Roller her over 1 time at 40 mph into a church daycare playground.

I don't get attached to vehicles, but I do take care of them. This was the truck I met my wife in.

Broke my shoulder, hit my head pretty good, and a bloody nose. Otherwise OK.

Seat belts save lives, wear them.

For an Explorer that went through a fence, SIDEWAYS, and had part of the roof caved in I have to admit that it still looks bad ass! How much damage and can it be fixed?

damn! so glad to hear you're okay... for the most part.

She just needs a quick buff and i'm sure you'll be driving her next week. :D

Glad you're ok, looks like it'll be drive able though! Gonna need some body panels and a windshield

Glad To See Your Ok , Poor Truck Is totaled , Once You Bend Or Dent the Area Around The Windshield Its Totaled , So Parting it Out Or Find another to Swap parts Too , Either Way Good Luck

Damn that sucks!! Glad to hear your ok for the most part! Looks like it held up pretty good but I can tell u right now it's totaled. Any idea if your going to buy another one and swap parts or part this one out? If you part it let me know!

Wholly **** Rusty, glad you aren't hurt worse man! At least no one was with you. Poor beast will be a good parts truck for you, at least it did it's job and protected you from being seriously injured. Damn dude, glad you're OK!

Rolling over on the STREET......that is still enough for admittance into the 'Rollover Posse', isn't it?

I am glad you are are okay....luckily, they built MILLIONS of them, and there are others out there that you can buy, and create new memories in.....

Ryan

Glad your okay
Who they caught the ******* that hit you
So Sorry about the truck

Glad your ok......but also know working for Indy based carriers that the Drivers around here are a bunch a lunatics....:fire:

Thanks Fellers....

You can bet your bullocks to a barn dance I'm buying another. And yes, she's totaled without full coverage, tow and property damage deductable are all coming out of pocket. I'll be pulling all my goodies off and adding to my next one, sorry guys! I've accumulated other parts I couldn't wait to add.

It runs and drives, but limping. Kind of like me today.

I'll find another from somewhere south of Indiana, out of the rust belt anyway. I'm thinking Arizona, New Mexico....

That does sound like a cool road trip post with a few stops along the way, doesn't it?

That sucks man. Glad you're ok.

How's the freezer?

Sorry to see the damage, but sure glad you're ok!

Yeah True , But GA doe's not use Salt On there Roads , Its A mix Of Dirt and Sand

Yeah, salt would probably be a better choice though. Wouldn't have spent $800 last year

Wow, glad to hear you're ok. The truck did its job. Seat belts do save lives, its great you had yours on.

Damn rusty, sorry about that. At least you didn't get really messed up. There's a few cheap Ex's on CL here in Memphis. No salt and barely any snow.
