Burried at Haspin Acres

This pic was taken of me while wheeling at Haspin Acres 2 years ago. I was the third or 4th truck to try the hole and not one had made it through, and even though my 91 XLT was stock aside from the 31x10.50 AT's i had on there I decided to go for it. You can't see it well in the pic but there is a log that is burried right in front of my rear tires and I didn't have enough traction to get over it. Ended up haveing an early 90's 3/4 ton Dodge turbo deisel pull me out backwards.

Thought it was even funnier when i say my truck in Offroad Adventures magazine and saw the title of the story, pretty much summed up that whole day for me :thumbdwn: .

Ohh well its no longer stock and getting better every day.

You should try that hole again now that you've got the lift and tires etc. Take a pic of you going through it and send it to them along with pictures of your X. Maybe they'll publish a follow up.

Wow that is funny, I actually remember seeing that and reading about it in ORA.

I too remember that issue. I think the editors probably could have come up with something better to say than what they did. Maybe something like, "This is the only stock vehicle that made it this far, and gave a good effort at this mud hole!!"

Great looking transformation...definately go back and conquer the hole and send it back to ORA, explorers need some recognition in that magazine. 4WheelParts people give me the "You wanna do WHAT to that explorer?!?!" no respect...
