By the way Xplorerkid, do you still need those brakelines because i still have them

Dont think i do, cause i did a quick measurement, and if anything they are only like .5" Longer than mine, If i see my brake lines are a problem, im prolly gunan get my boss to order, or help me make some extended lines...

like i said dont hold it to me, thats what i figured up, but it might be different on years? to measure mine, i used a string and ran it the length, than measured the section of string....

oh dont worry im definately not holding it to you, i just need an excuse so i can get my money back, thats a good enough one for me, also, the guy i talked to over the fone when i ordered them was pretty incompitent so im sure it was their error.

well since this has turned into the official EF desert thread ill post up some pics of the camburg edge LT setup i found while looking through dezertrangers.com
says it will pull 19-20 inches of wheel travel using a 10" shock. increases the track width to 84" and should use a 35 x 12.5 tire with a 6" fiberglass fender flare.

Does that seyup still use the torsion bars or what? Those didn't look like coilovers.

no it uses coilovers, you can see the coilover in the 3rd pic, doesnt have springs on it but its there behing the shock in front

Edit* you can see it in the first pic

Ok. Thanks. I wasn't sure if that's what it was. That explains the jack stands holding up the truck.

ya thats the edge that they started doing the LT kit on...it's not done yet though just so you guys know....they are also working on putting the kit on their Edge race truck:12" racerunner's on that thing it's gonna be bad ass...
ok well i called deaver about my problem and they said they would arch the driver's spring an inch or so if i want for nothing extra so i'll probably do that...dave you're gonna love it...it is such a nice setup....are you going with the frame gusset's b/c you plan on jumping it a lot or what??? i mean it's only an extra 50 bux so you might as well...keep us updated

Well heres some pictures of just the Lower Arm, Spindle, and Steering.
I should be getting my kit maybe at the end of next week.

im gettin the gussets because i dont want to tear out an upper arm mount and ive seen it happen a few times, i just want the thing to be able to take a harsh beating

ahh.... thats soo sick. how much is the LT kit?

Its about 7,000 to have Camburg put it for you and this comes with coil-overs.
Or if you want just the lower arms, upper arms, spindles, and steering it will cost you about 3,300.

thats actually not too bad, the LT kit for the normal a arm ranger is 7500 installed and it only pulls 15" of travel, i would much rather build an edge and get the 19-20" that this kit pulls

Joe--any updates yet??
Hey so what do you guys think about some heimed steering?? Camburg now has it as an option...only $400 and it's essentially bolt on?? and i was wrong i joined the bump can club....i got two ordered up...should be sweet....hey biter, i mean dave j/k man, any progress with you

the steering is very good and makes a big diff. i helped install it on my buddy's ranger and its really not that difficult you just have to align it afterward because your toe will probably be off. i was thinking about the steering but im gonna wait till i blow one of my stock ones to get that upgrade. as for my truck its going into richer racing all next week and should be finished that friday. im dying to get it done because desert season is coming up!

Talked to Camburg today I hope to be getting the kit early next week like monday or tuesday. I saw the arms and spindles and man do they look awesome. I think I am going to go with (2)King 2.5 coilovers dual rate 10s and Kings 2.5 bumps so I have got to order these hopefully by the end of next week if I have time. I still have to order glass also. So it looks like I will get the front done by the end of October. Just in time for the desert season.

Now I just need to figure something out for the rear.

Also I will post pictures when I get the kit from Camburg and when I get the other parts.

hey gijoe are you planning on linking the rear or still using leaf springs?
