I need to know if I will be able to fit 32's on my stock rims. I then need to know if they will fit under my 97 XLT 4x4 explorer with a Torsion Twist, and Add a Leaf's. I am going to put on BFG All Terrain TA KO's. Thanks

i think so... it depends on how wide you want to go with the tires. i believe 32x11.5 should be ok, but definatly dont go any wider. and since 31's fit at stock height, 32's should fit fine with the TT/shackles

Yea they will fit on the stock rims but fitting it under there is the hard part.

My tires are just under 32's (like 31.8...265/70/17) and they fit just barely after the tt/shackle but I had to have a body shop cut a couple pieces of plastic behind the front tires ($30).

I have the 235 75 R15. I have done nothing to the car, but am looking to do some upgrades. Any Ideas.;)

I am looking to do the TT/Shackles soon also and am wondering what kind of trimming has to be done. Is it the black part in the bumper area? Or is the trimming part of the outside fender where it will be noticeable?

You will have to trim the front bumper and you will need to trim the Skirts/Steps depending on which you have. The problem isn't clearing the tires' height, it is the width of the front fender.

Ok so now that all that trimming is being done will it be noticeable from the side? I have the fender flares and the running boards i guess u would call them. Nice truck addkev. Do you have any pics of the fenderwell?

you wont notice the trimming from anywhere... other than the fact that it aint rubbing ;)

Yeah, I have pics of where I trimmed, send me your email. You can't hardly notice, if you didn't know it was there you never would. I can see it because I did it, but it still looks good as new.

Yes you can fit 32's.....
You will have to trim, but like it was said, you will NOT notice any trimming has been done!

you can go here, and it will tell you all that you need to know!

click on the pics link in my signature. i had that exact setup. i trimmed the tupperware just the slitest bit on the inside of the fenderwell. you could not notice it. you will not have to trim the bumper. i added teh 2" body lift because when runnign hard on a really bumpy road i would rub the tires on the top of the fender well.

I just placed several pictures in the photo gallery under the off road section. There are 5 pictures of how I had to trim my bumper. GJarrett had to trim his in a similar way.
