Nope, 97 is flat and your 99 is curved. You need 98-01

You would be better off with a trash bag. These things are all over the junkyards, you should be able to find one for under $50

Geez, steep prices. I bought the rear glass for my 96 from a pick-a-part yard for $35. Hatch with glass would have been $70 plus $8 core charge.
