Have you tried going to Tirerack.com? They have a really good program for switching cars, rims and tires even sizes.

Brian

ive actually already tried that....for all types of explorers 2wd & 4wd 2000. it always says they dont carry a wheel for that vehicle...do you know if it will work with the older sports? what years have the 2000 body style (2nd gen?)

2nd Gen. body style is 1995-2001.

Tirerack.com no longer carries anything for explorers due the the roll overs, dont ask me why?

Tell them you've have something else with a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern (jeep, mustang?, sport trac, or something)

hey are you gunna sell your factory wheels anytime soon?

hell i might.....but i dont think im putting bling bling rims on it......i think im raising it up a few inches and putting bigger tires on....but who knows....i might not have the X too long....payments are $250/mo. insurance is $175 mo.

the car i just traded in, payments were $180 mo. and insurance 125$

Hell my 1996 XLT payments are $400 a month. I guess we wanted to pay it off more quickly. BUt $250 sounds good.

Food for thought: I will pay on it for 5 years @ 7.5% APR but if I can't afford it I will definately try to find something else

WannaXP8,

How much are you willing to pay for factory rims and goodyear tires that are less than a year old? I will only sell as a set. Rims and tires go together.

If you give me a decent price i will start looking at rims to put on my explorer today and i will sell you my factory ones.

I know a FWD rim when I see one. A Honda around here has those rims.

hartman, are you sure? thats an awfully deep lip for fwd offset...

it doesnt specify FWD or RWD, i think they make both in universal bolt patterns

MO_GUY, where is Farber MO, cause I live in St. Louis and work at a bank that you can get 4.99% on 1999 and up vehciles, and 1995-1998 you can get 5.99%.

99explorer5.0 are they the 16s? Are they polished or just the satin finish?
