I know the cans of WD40 I have are not going to cut it. What else is good to break loose these 11+ year old bolts from my X? I'm going to be doing new spings, shocks, & a set of add-a-leafs.

Thanks

PB Blaster

I have heard Aero Kroil is good. I bought some but never had to use it. Here is there address

Kano Labs
1000 S. Thompson LN
Nashville TN, 37211
PH 615 833 4101
Fax 615 833 5790

Good luck, if you use it drop me an email and let me know if it is any good.

WD40 has never failed me... even on the worse of my exhaust manifold bolts.

Cyclo - Break Away

Our shop here like this stuff.

I second both PB Blaster and Aero Kroil. Spray on, let soak for about 1/2 hour and start banging away. If it doesn't come loose, you'll probably have to cut it off.....

I would give it a shot with the WD40 before buying something else. It worked for me when I did my aal and shackles.

Hit the bolts real good the day before and let it soak over night.

if you are cheep just mix kerosine and atf(automatic tranny fluid) together 50/50 and use that, i hear it works pretty well, especuially if you have it lying around and dont want to drive to the store to pick some stuff up.

With any of them spray it and let it soak. Spray it again the next day. They are penetrating oils and on really bad stuff it may take a while to penetrate.

Nah you wont have to cut anything, if you cant take it off with WD40 and a breaker bar then you have other problems...

if worse comes to worse.. MAPP GAS!

PB Blaster!!!!!!

PB Blaster has worked on everything for me!!! Apply a little heat for a while and then spray the PB on and let it sit. Tap it a little to cause the rust the break up. If that doesn't work than C-4 explosives will definantely work!!! ;)

Personally, ive haven't noticed a difference between PB blaster, WD40, this no name **** i got from walmart. so go for whatever is cheapest.

PB Blaster, worked well for me.

PB Blaster is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ive tried about everything out there and IMHO its the best.

I'm on the PB blaster bandwagon for rusted nuts and bolts. I do use WD40 and liquid wrench, but the blaster is far better at loosening up rusted bolts.

Thanks guys! PB Blaster it is....If I can find it, auto stores in my area never have anything.
