some new bloke moved in to the workshop next to mine and he has just brought himself a grand cherokee bottom spec but clean and not a bad price we got talking and i was very polite saying things like thats a nice 4x4 blah blah blah he then starts talking about mine and starts by saying "you cant take them off road thats why i didnt get one" then he went on to say "my brother had one of them for 4 years he said it was s*it" just when i thought he was finished he then started saying how he didnt want leather seats because there s*it and you stick to them what a nice chap i wished i told him what i thought about his purple piece of s?it .........also if the ex is so bad why did it take his brother four years to decide he didnt like it ?

Velocity - Not sure a schmuck like that is even worth your time, but it would be worth it to direct him to this site and show him what Explorers can REALLY do. Show him some pictures of Rick, Jefe, FROADER, Section, IZWack, etc. tearing it up.

Or, like someone suggested, show him Gerald's 'Herc' (because it's not SASed) and ask him if his Jeep can do that, or if he would even have the slightest idea how to drive in the situations those rigs have been in.

Poor show, as only a jeep owner could display!
Us Ex owners are way cooler, why...........because our cars look the dogs do dahs and really do off road, better than most that claim to!
I know that because when Howard, me and a few others went off road, guess what pulled a land rover out of the mud-Howards Ex, WE IN OUR EXs were about the only ones that NEVER got stuck!
Hows that for ability?
Dont waste your time getting upset mate- just smile at him, he plainly has poor taste and has never been off road cept for a grass verge maybe.
