Your mechanic couldn't figure this out? It seems pretty clear if you are using coolant at an extreme rate, and you see it from the tailpipe, that you either have a blown head gasket or lower intake manifold gasket.
wouldn't it be overheating if that's the case? I am not 100% positive what was coming out of the tailpipe... could it be combustion from when I first started it up? I checked the transmission oil yesterday and it was low. I had it changed along with the filter 3 months ago so maybe there is a leak? If I put in more fluid could that be a temporary fix? I just cant afford a new transmission right now... or labor to put it in
