My buddy gave me a set of 2 inch lift blocks for the leafs because he accidentally bought the set with the rounded U bolts and he needed the square ones. So now all i need is a set of two inch coil spacers.

Where would I go for this? And what do I need to know? I would rather not pay through the nose.

Hate to be the doooood that breaks this to you but "lift blocks" actually lower the Explorer because the spring is under the axle.

Lift blocks will not lift your leaf it will lower it. Your ex has the leafs under the axle .

i just bought some coil spring boosters at advance auto for $8 each.one in each coil gave me about 3/4 -1' more lift .my coils were just sagging a little bit and the boosters brought it back up .if you buy them buy some lithium grease to install them, just jack up one side and take the wheel off is the best method.to get 2 inchs you may have to install 2 on each coil .the 2 methods of installing them is to place it in the coil it's self (what i did ) or to take the coil off and install it on the end of the spring.

..That will also limit your spring compression if you plan to go offroad..:dunno:

just throwing out some ideas here...thats all. worked good on my 2wd sport :salute:

so what would be the most effective way to gain a few inches?

Dont know if they will fit the explorer but i got a good 3" lift on the back of my BII with coilover shocks. Gunna look tonight to see if they will fit my ex
