My check engine light has a tendency of coming on. I am getting codes for the front O2 sensor on the right bank which is not fun to get to. Anyway it has been replaced and I am still getting the codes for it. Is there anyway to test the wiring or anything else I can do????? I dont want to be driving around with an actual problem and ignore it because I think the check engine light is crying wolf.

Did you re-set the computer after you installed the new sensor? If not, the code will still be there.

Yeah it was reset and code cleared. I had it rechecked and it threw no codes. If I have the code cleared it will be fine and not throw a code for a month or two.

Im not sure if I have an exhaust leak but I do hear the clicking under load as I have read about in and egr tube leak post. I am going to check that out today. But I didnt think about that thanks. Ill get the code today too if I have time dont remember off hand.

Well I went to the parts store to get the codes checked and well.... the check engine light went off when I was on my way up there and she threw no codes. I cant tell if I have an exhaust leak or not. I can hear ticking under load especially when it is cold.
