who makes radius arms drop brackets big enough for a 9" lift?

9" of all suspension? Nobody really. The biggest you'll find are the Skyjacker 6 or Superlift 5.5, because as far as I know the 8" Skyjacker for Rangers still uses 6" hardware.

yep 9+" of alll susp. 8" coils + 1.25" f150 coil seats = 9.25" of susp lift, ,but if the chamber is off (which it probably will be being 3.25" bigger that the axle pivot bracket) im just gonna remove the f150 seats, and add 1" or 1.5" of body lift, to clear the monster 37's! lol

Yup, you won't get it aligned with over 9 1/2" of lift (The F-150 are actually good for about 1 5/8" lift). Better stick to 8" coils and 1-2" body.

yea i know theres a ranger on here with 7"(4"susp 3"body) that runs 37's. soo maybe ill just get 6" skyjacker coils and then that will give me 7 5/8" of susp and then maybe a 1.5" body lift

but i just dont want to lose any flex, soo 8" coils might be the best way, i dunno yet, i still gotta see how much everything is going to cost me

does anyone know how much lift daemons white explorer has???

a 4" lift can fit 33's, a 6" lift can fit 35's, soo should a 8" lift be able to fit 37's?

He's got a d44 front and a 9" rear, both cut down. He also has glass up front. I just PM'ed him though asking ~ how much lift he came out with.

thanks!

im still finding parts, but i came out with $485( 6" axle pivot bracket, 8" coils, & shocks). What would be the best way to get my rear up to 8"? im looking for stuff that will give me good flex, but not to much axle wrap.

SOA and some shackles would be what i would do

OME springs in the rear. They'd run you about 250 each though. You could do AAL, but it would limit flex. Shackles are minimal lift but good flex and no more axle wrap than w/o them. Blocks wouldn't stop flex, but would give you more axle wrap. Traction bars would stop the axle wrap, but limit flex usually. Pretty tough decision LOL

since i got add a leafs sitting in my garage ill give thoughs a try

i have both aal and WAR-153 and my rear still flexes pretty well without the sway bars attached. It will flex to the point of the tire hitting the fender well...so i honestly think the flex factor isnt really an issue with the AALs....

which radius arms are better, skyjacker, james duff or superlift

also how hard is it to make your own raduis arms?

Judging by people's opinions on the companies lifts, I'd say Skyjacker = 1st, Duff = 2nd, and Superlift = 3rd. Do you mean extending the stock R/As, like people do with SAS's, or build new ones completely? I wouldn't build new ones completely...worth the $$ for the Skyjacker/Duff/SL/etc IMO.

extending the stock ones
because $500+ seems alot for raduis arms

The extended ones are a good bit stronger than the stock ones though. IDK, maybe if you boxed the stock ones and extended them like people do with SAS's. I don't see why that wouldn't work. It would be a great deal cheaper too.

i guess im going to try that then

H/O...let others respond first before taking my advice. I haven't seen it done before so maybe there is a reason? I don't want to be the cause of something going wrong. :p

mmmm that black 1st gen on the MT/Rs looks bad! Sure you really want to spend the money on 37" MT/Rs? Mounted Balanced, and road hazard, look to spend 1300$ no doubt they are a good tire, especially on the street, in the rain. Since im 2wd, i havent really offroaded that much on mine. Had them in the mud twice, did great the first time, second didnt think the hole that was deep, and i sank, and couldnt get back out, ended up having a dodge yank me out, this is mainly due though cause i dont have 4wd(hopefully wull change) You could prolly run the 8" Sky Jacker lift, and a 2" Body lift. (dont know how hard the 8" lift is to come buy, dont think they make it anymore)

Oh and go with 15x10s, i have 15x8s and HATE it. 37"s, 15x8s, and 9"s of lift can make for some hairy times, i think some 15x10s would help some by widening the stance, ill prolly solve my prob by going FW d44/9" though :D

Good Luck, cant wait to see it grow some more.

bmx- dont worry i wont be doing this for a little while,

and as for the tires, the more and more i think about it 37"gy mtr are $190 and 35"kumhos are $130, is 2" really worth $60 more. soo i think im goin to settle for running 35's because for the $200 more 37's i can get a aussie locker. so yeah im just tryin to come up with ideas and a parts list for the winter projects
